Atlantic Federation

The Atlantic Federation is the most powerful and largest nation in the Earth Alliance. It encompasses the territories of the Northern America, and Great Britain and Ireland. It is led by the President from the White House in its capital, Washington DC. Its army is the largest in the Earth Alliance. The Atlantic Federation pioneered the development of Mobile Suits within the Earth Alliance. It is the dominant force of the Alliance. The Atlantic and the Eurasian Federations have long been rivals despite their alliance. Mistrust exists between these allies and it undermines their ability to work with each other against Zodiac Alliance of Freedom Treaty.

Throughout both Bloody Valentine Wars the Atlantic Federation has been seen to be under the near constant influence of anti-Coordinator groups such as the Blue Cosmos. This form of “back room politics” seems to have controlled and defined the agenda of the Atlantic Federation throughout both wars, as demonstrated by the inability of its leader to properly react during the Second Bloody Valentine War after the death of the LOGOS leader at Daedalus base towards the end of the war.
